At Beautiful Beginnings Outreach Relief (BBOR), we are committed to changing the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia. Since 2017, we have provided essential services like education, shelter, food, medical care and emotional support to hundreds of children who have lost their parents or guardians. The impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic has left many children without a secure future, with 1 in 4 homes being headed by a child caregiver. BBOR steps in to ensure that these children are not left to fend for themselves.
Through our programs, we have been able to support 230 girls in two homes, providing them with all-around care for 11 months out of the year. We offer nutritious meals, clothing, quality education, physical therapy and counseling services to meet the children’s holistic needs. Additionally, we have made significant achievements, such as securing clean water access through three boreholes, ensuring that children have memorized portions of the Quran and maintaining a 100% pass rate on national exams.
